Abstract

Background and Aim: Spiritual security is under sustainable national security. There is a close relationship
between comprehensive health, including the spiritual dimension, and national security. Spiritual aspects of Health
and Security have been investigated in this study.
Methods: Library research method used in this study. The data analysis was qualitative and explanatory (causal),
and interpretive.
Results: Spiritual security and spiritual health, in the “Islamic-Iranian model of progress”, are necessary and
obligatory for each other. Spiritual health, the most important dimension of comprehensive health, is effective in,
and necessary for, national security and sustainable development of society, too.
Conclusion: Spiritual aspects of “Health” and “Security”, are two divine blessings, precious and irreplaceable
havens, in human societies. Belief in God, strengthening the attributes of faith, and righteous actions, are the main
origin of security actions and also the main mechanism for obtaining and promoting spiritual health.
