Abstract
Background and Aim: Psychological security is under sustainable national security. There is a close relationship
between comprehensive health, including the Psychological dimension, and national security. Mental
(Psychological) aspects of Health and Security have been investigated in this study.
Methods: Library research method used in this study. The data analysis was qualitative and explanatory (causal),
and interpretive.
Results: Mental security and mental health are necessary for each other. Providing, maintaining, and promoting
mental health, in the context of the Islamic-Iranian model of progress. is possible in the following ways: Promoting
moral and spiritual teachings; Consolidation of the family foundation; Eliminating the stressful factors from
personal, family and social life; and Improvement of other mental health indicators.
Conclusion: Comprehensive health and sustainable security are two great divine blessings in human societies.
Providing, maintaining and promoting mental health, in harmony with other dimensions of health, is a definite
requirement and accompanied by sustainable national security and development.
